Join the Movement.

This campaign doesn't win on its own.
It wins because people like you decide that District 5
is worth showing up for.

How You Can Help

Pick Your Role.
Every One Matters.

You don't have to knock on every door or attend every event. Find the role that fits your life and commit to it. Consistency beats intensity every time.

Block Captain

Own your street. Be the face of this campaign in your neighborhood.

You know your neighbors. You see them at the mailbox, at the corner store, at church on Sunday. A Block Captain uses those existing relationships to spread the word, answer questions, and make sure every household on their block knows who Strickland is and what he stands for. No political experience needed. Just credibility with the people around you.

  • ★Introduce the campaign to neighbors personally
  • ★Place yard signs on your block with homeowner permission
  • ★Share campaign updates in neighborhood group chats and social feeds
  • ★Report back any concerns or questions from your neighbors to the campaign

School Parent Liaison

Connect the campaign to the parents and families who need to hear this message most.

PTA meetings. Drop-off lines. School events. Parent group chats. These are the places where the real conversations about education happen, and a School Parent Liaison brings Strickland's voice into those spaces. If you're already plugged into a school community in District 5, this role was made for you.

  • ★Share campaign materials with PTA networks and parent organizations
  • ★Represent the campaign at school-based community events
  • ★Collect parent concerns and questions to bring back to the campaign
  • ★Help organize parent attendance at school board meetings

Digital Ambassador

You don't need to leave your house. Just your platform.

Facebook. Instagram. Nextdoor. Group texts. If you have a following, a feed, or even just a family group chat, you have influence. A Digital Ambassador uses their online presence to spread the campaign's message with content the campaign provides, plus their own authentic voice. The most powerful endorsement on social media isn't a paid ad. It's a real person saying: I believe in this.

  • ★Share campaign posts, videos, and graphics on your social platforms
  • ★Use the Supporter Talking Points to speak confidently about the campaign online
  • ★Tag the campaign when sharing so we can amplify your reach
  • ★Send campaign content directly to contacts who may not follow the campaign yet

Event Crew

Show up. Help out. Make every campaign appearance count.

Behind every successful campaign event is a group of people who arrived early, set up chairs, greeted strangers, and stayed late to fold everything back up. Event Crew members are the backbone of the campaign's physical presence in the community. If you're the kind of person who shows up and does what needs to be done, we need you.

  • ★Help set up and break down campaign events and community appearances
  • ★Greet and welcome attendees, answer basic questions about the campaign
  • ★Distribute yard signs, literature, and campaign materials at events
  • ★Represent the campaign with professionalism and warmth

Here's What to Say.

Whether you're a Block Captain, a Digital Ambassador, or just someone who believes in what this campaign stands for, these are the words that travel. Learn them. Say them naturally. Let them spread. Every conversation is a campaign.

1

He's not a career politician ... he's a businessman, a minister, and a father who actually lives in this district.

2

He built SOMA Business Development to help Monroe's small businesses grow. He understands how systems work and how to make them work for people.

3

He founded Glory's Garden Foundation after his daughter beat a 1% survival odds. If you want to know what he'll do for kids who need someone in their corner — that's your answer.

4

He's running because he believes District 5's story isn't finished. And he's willing to do the work to prove it.

Let's change homes.
